#2 Vocabulary Exercise

1. trade : the activity of buying , selling or exchanging goods within a country or between countries.
   *example : There has been a marked increase in trade between East and West.
     
2. campaign : a series of actions intended to achieve a particular result relating to politics or business, or a social improvement.
   *example : Police have launched a campaign to crack down on drug dealers.

3. imbalance : a lack of a fair or correct balance between two things, which results in problems or unfairness
   *example : The government must redress the imbalance (= put it right) in spending on black and white children.

4. contact : communication with a person, organization, country etc
   *example : Many of us have no direct contact with elderly people.

5. summit : an important meeting or set of meetings between the leaders of several governments
   *example : The two presidents agreed to hold a summit in the spring.

Hello~everyone. My name is Samantha. I'm from Hualien and study in Taipei now. I'm twenty-one years old. My hobby is playing piano, swimming and listen the music. When I was young ,my dream is travel around the world that want to visit all kinds of culture in different country. My hometown is a big city, so our transportation always used motorcycle and car. We didn't have MRT. Hualien is a beautiful place. There have mountain and sea around you. In summer, we go to the river or beach to play the water and also go to the mountain to visit the view any time. So I'm glad to born in Hualien.
